Full Interior Design

Including briefing, design concepts, design development through to implementation and installation, ensuring that deadlines are met and agreed budgets adhered to, ensuring her projects are as stress-free as possible.  This may be a single room as part of a home, or a whole property depending on our clients’ needs.

Mary works with experienced and trusted craftsmen, architects, and specialist restorers, as well as upholsterers, curtain makers and contractors. She is also able to source from a wide range of relevant and trusted suppliers, including bespoke work, and holds a large design library at her offices.

Consultancy

Where a client wants to manage the project themselves, but would like a some focus and advice, on colours, layout, furnishings, lighting and finishing details.

The Design Process, for projects large and small, includes:

• Appraisal and briefing – taking our client’s brief and discussing with them what they would like to achieve.

• Initial design proposals – once a brief is agreed, Mary will put together initial concepts and ideas for furnishings and layouts. She won't restrict you to one choice, but will guide you through the options.

• Developing design proposals – when you are happy with initial ideas, she develops these schemes into detailed designs and specifications, and prepares and submits an estimate of costs.

• Implementation – Mary prepares and agrees specifications and schedules of decorations, furnishings and fittings, and advises on appointing trade contractors, or specialists.  She will then co-ordinate the trades along with supply, delivery and installation of all furnishings.
