The Design Process

Our Approach | The Design Process

The key elements of the design process remain the same for any project, however large or small

We communicate with our clients throughout this process, but offer a flexible service which enables clients to participate in as much or as little of the design process as they wish

We will also develop the design process as far as individual client's need, from advising on colour schemes for a single room, through to a full design and implementation service, co-ordinating the whole project for a large residence

Appraisal and briefing – we take your brief and discuss with you what you are trying to achieve

Initial design proposals – once a brief is agreed, we will put together initial concepts and ideas for furnishings and layouts. We won't restrict you to one choice, but will guide you through the options

Developing design proposals – when you are happy with our initial ideas, we develop these schemes into detailed designs and specifications, and prepare and submit an estimate of costs

Implementation – we prepare and agree specifications and schedules of decorations, furnishings and fittings, and advise on appointing trade contractors. We'll then co-ordinate the trades along with supply, delivery and installation of all furnishings
